WELCOME TO SEND R US CIC

Our vision is to live in a community where all children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) have access to the same opportunities as everyone else. This includes bringing families together as we understand it can be a lonely journey when you have a child with SEND. 

Our mission is to reduce isolation, stress and anxiety for people living with SEND through our fun and educational activities in the community. This creates opportunities for friendships and support networks to be formed. 

We encourage inclusion and social equity for all of our SEND community and we aim to address any gaps that we see in society.

Currently, we are running cookery courses, which will run throughout 2026 and 2027. These sessions are designed to develop independence skills and life skills. 

Throughout 2026 and 2027 we also have yoga and sound bath wellbeing sessions. 

SEND R US CIC collaborate with local organisations whose values align with ours to help provide and enrich the experiences of our local community.

All our children, young people and adults with SEND are Superheroes, and we encourage and support them all the way to reach their full potential.

Our directors bring a wealth of experience and skills to SEND R US CIC. We are parent/carers of a child/young person or adult with disabilities and or complex needs, and have held prominent positions in local groups, attended strategic meetings with the local authority and are passionate to make a positive difference in the community.
